Topic: November is SWET’s anniversary month. We’ve kept this community ticking along for four and a half decades, from the manual typewriter days to the advent of AI-driven translation and text-writing platforms, from the postwar flourishing of print publications about Japan to the era of websites and text for QR code access, avatar audio, and other cyber media. Looking forward, what should SWET be doing in its next five years? What are some of the topics you’d like to see SWET take up? What can a community like SWET do to make the recent technological changes work for us?
