A panel of well-known columnists who have recently brought out their writings in book form will talk about their experiences and answer questions. On the panel will be Kathy Morikawa ([em]The Couch Potato’s Guide to Japan: Inside the World of Japanese TV[/em], self-published), Donald Richie ([em]Japanese Literature Reviewed[/em], IGC Muse) and Mark Schilling ([em]The Yakuza Movie Book: A Guide to Japanese Gangster Films[/em], Stone Bridge Press).

The panel talk will be followed (7:00-9:00) by the SWET New Year’s Party, buffet, and drinks in the spacious banquet room off the International House garden. Celebrate the New Year with this opportunity to see old friends and make new friends.
