February 3 - Translating and Writing in Japan: A Foreign Reporter’s Experience
Eric Johnston, a Kansai-based news reporter and features writer for the past 12 years and currently Deputy Editor with The Japan Times in Osaka, spends the vast majority of his time translating and interpreting Japanese into English on tight deadlines. On February 3, he will share with SWET Kansai some of the secrets and tips bilingual news reporters at not only The Japan Times but elsewhere often use to make those deadlines.
