An introductory editing workshop for people who didn’t think they would need one.

This workshop is for people who are being asked to “check” brochures, “proofread” letters, or “rewrite” translations but have no formal editorial training or experience. Issues relating to English-language document revision in Japan will be presented through group discussion and analysis of printed materials. Participants are welcome to bring a troublesome document (non-confidential, with all identifying information removed) to study and rework.
