This is an open forum for translators, focusing on advice for prospective participants in the April 22 translation workshop. This event will raise questions about the nitty-gritty of Japanese-to-English translation, especially those that cross into the professions of editing, copyediting style, and layout and design. In addition, attendees are invited to share and consider perspectives on professionalism in client/author interchange, proactive translator input, collaboration, and much more.
